Been a while...

Ok, so I am sorry it has been a while since I have written anything. I have been back to work and hardly find time to spend with my sweet Claire, let alone get my pictures from the camera to the computer. Then write about them....ok, enough excuses. There are a few new things Claire has managed to figure out. She is now rolling over from back to tummy. We can't quite get her to go the other way. She is becoming quite the roly poly! We also tried out some green beans. She really seems to like them. I don't want to rush her to eat more foods, so we are taking it gradually.
Claire had a little bout of conjunctivitis (pink eye) which was sad for me! She had goopy stuff in one of her eyes and we could tell it wasn't right. Chad stayed home from work with her so he could take her to the doctor. They gave us eye drops. We used them for about 5 days and everything cleared up. It was an interesting week for us!
She is 5 months today! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by. We just love her so much, and it is so fun to see her personality. She is such a cutie and loves to laugh and talk!
Here are a few pics of her trying out the green beans, sitting up like a big girl and a short video of her rolling over! You can tell we are proud!! :)

Mmmm, Yummy!

Who ever thought rice cereal would be such a hit? It doesn't look like the most delicious thing in the world, but Claire love it! Here are a few pictures from when we first fed it to her.

It's Playtime!

Claire is learning all kinds of ways to play. She has recently figured out how to grab her toes and feet. She loves to do this when she gets her diaper changed. She likes being on her tummy and reaches for her toys. Sometimes she just pushes them away. It's kind of funny! :)

4 months

Here is Claire at 4 months! I had to work, so Chad took her to her 4 month check up. She weighs 12 lbs 7 ounces and is 26 inches! She is pretty long! Daddy did a good job and asked all my questions for me. We are starting some rice cereal, just a little, and Claire seems to like it. Yesterday it seemed like she was getting upset when it was gone! She has such a great personality and we love playing with her and seeing her laugh. So cute!!

Mommy's Christmas Stocking

When I was born, I actually came home on Christmas day in a big stocking. My sister gave me the idea to take a picture of Claire in it. Of course, I was much smaller when I was in it, but it was fun to get it back out and put Claire in it. You can compare my picture to her!

New Toys

Claire got some new toys for Christmas. The pink bear is from my mom. She always sends a bear to the grandkids on their first Christmas. She loves giving her bear friend kisses. Thanks, Grandma!

The sea horse is from Chad's parents. If you push in the belly, it lights up and plays some soft music. She loves it! Thanks, Grandma and Papa.

My parents both sent money so we got Claire an exersaucer. She is still a little small for it, but she enjoys it nonetheless. She will probably get more out of it when her feet touch and she can move herself around, but this is nice for her to practice sitting up. Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa!

My 1st Christmas

I am so sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I got a new camera for my birthday and Christmas, so I have been "practicing" with it. I finally installed the software so I can transfer the pictures from my camera. I will try to make my posts in some kind of order, but there are no guarantees!
Here is Claire in her "My 1st Christmas" outfit from Aunt Alana. She didn't even seem to mind me taking the pictures. SO cute!
