Happy Halloween!

Thank you, Amanda, for the cute mouse costume. It is a size newborn, and Claire still fits that size, so thankfully it works! She gave it to us a while back and I wasn't sure if it would still fit, but it is perfect! :)

Picture Time

Claire is almost 2 months old. I didn't get newborn pictures professionally done, so I have yet to take her for two month pictures. I took some pictures here at home, just for fun. I wish I was a professional! :)

Watch me grow...

One Month

Two Months

One of my friends has a chair in which she has taken a picture of her daughter every month. I think that is such a great idea, but I don't have such a chair. I have another idea in mind, so here are a couple pictures of Claire as she has grown. Hopefully you can tell a difference! :)

All Smiles

I LOVE it when Claire smiles and giggles. It is the cutest thing to me. I wish I could capture it and keep it forever. Tell me that isn't an adorable smile! :)

Little Pumpkin

My friend from work, Karen, gave Claire this adorable pumpkin hat. I must say she looks pretty cute in it! Thanks Karen!!

Such a cutie!!!

Claire is just the cutest thing in the world to me. She is so fun to just watch!

Great Grandma and Grandpa

We took a road trip to South Dakota last week for a family member's funeral. We spent a lot of time with family and got to see my Grandpa and Grandma. We hated going for a funeral, but we enjoyed every minute with my family.

Here is a quick clip of Claire when she sneezed. She has some cute smiles in there too. I just love that!

Aaahhh Choo!

Claire does this funny thing when she sneezes. I guess she realized she usually sneezes twice. So, sometimes the second sneeze doesn't come out, and instead she does this little grunt, shout thing. It is so cute! I tried to get it on video, but she only sneezed a regular one. Who knew I would be so excited to talk about cute sneezes!

So cute!

Claire sure has some cute little outfits. Chad helped with a bike race last weekend, so I dressed Claire in this little jumpsuit since I thought it would be warm. I actually took the pictures before we went, because I didn't take the camera with me. I know...I should keep it handy at all times!

Bath Time

Obviously this isn't from Claire's first bath since we did sponge baths for a while. This is her first bath in her pink tub! She seemed to do fine and wiggled herself down to be in the warm water. She doesn't like it when I take her out to dry her off, probably because the temperature changes so much!

Tummy Time

I love letting Claire "play" as much as she can. We put her on her play mat today so she could have some tummy time. She really just lays there because she can't do a whole lot yet. Chad would put her on one side and she could roll back to her belly so we did that a few times. She really loves to look around, so keeping her on her tummy didn't last too long. We'll keep adding a little longer each time so she can practice holding her head up. If nothing else, the play mat is adorable and made for some great pictures! :)

4 Weeks and Counting

Claire is 4 weeks old today! I can't believe how quickly the time has already gone by. I love watching her grow and see little things she does. We make them such a huge deal to her! She is able to hold her head up pretty well if we are holding her. We like to do her "exercises" and tell her where her tummy, legs, arms, etc are. We have our 1 month check up on Friday, so I am excited to see how much she weighs. I know she has grown since the last time, because I can totally tell.
We tried out a bottle the other day. She took it with no problem and guzzled it down! I still had to breastfeed because we just gave her a little to try it out. We are still completely on "mommy milk" and I hope we can keep it that way.
